Red One is an American Christmas Action Film in which Callum Drift (Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson), the North Pole’s Head of Security, undertakes a mission to find and reclaim Santa Claus from kidnappers.
Jake Kasdan, the director, is the son of Lawrence Kasdan, who co-wrote two of the three original Star Wars films. He also directed the most recent Jumanji films. Critics have panned his latest directorial effort, assigning Red One a Rotten Tomatoes score of 33 per cent.
They have called it ‘Soulless,’ ‘Lifeless,’ and ‘Bereft of Genuine Emotion.’ If none of that puts you off, you can watch Red One in cinemas today.
