Equity Bank Uganda unveils multilingual toll-free center to boost customer experience

Equity Bank Uganda’s customer centre team assists clients

KAMPALA, Uganda — Equity Bank Uganda launched a multilingual toll-free customer contact center on Thursday, enhancing customer support and accessibility.

The 24/7 toll-free line, 0800 232700, caters to Uganda’s diverse languages, including Swahili, Luganda, Luo, Runyakitara, and four other regional languages.

“Easy and accessible communication channels are vital to fostering trust and ensuring customer satisfaction,” said Jael Christine Wawulira, Equity Bank’s Head of Customer Experience.

The center aims to streamline customer inquiries, facilitate faster resolutions, and provide uninterrupted support.

By introducing the multilingual toll-free line, Equity Bank underscores its commitment to delivering a first-rate banking experience.

 

“The new center promotes convenience by simplifying the customer support process,” Wawulira said. “We anticipate it will significantly enhance client satisfaction.”

The toll-free service is available to all Equity Bank customers, reinforcing the bank’s dedication to delivering world-class banking solutions tailored to meet customers’ unique needs.
