Blue Beetle now in cinema 

In Blue Beetle, Jaime Reyes, a recent college graduate, that returns home only to realize that things are not quite what he remembers.

Jaime’s efforts to find his purpose lead him to the scarab, a piece of alien biotechnology that grants him extraordinary gifts. The film is based on the DC comic book character of the same name.

James Gunn revealed a while ago that Xolo Mariduena’s Jaime Reyes would reappear in the new DC Universe. However, this movie is part of the old DCEU and has no bearing on Gunn’s future plans.

In other words, the events of Blue Beetle don’t really matter. So far, it has a Rotten Tomatoes audience score of 95 percent and a 79 percent critic rating. You can watch Blue Beetle in cinemas today.
