Something for Nicholas Cage fans

Renfield is a 2023 horror comedy from Chris McKay (The Lego Batman, The Tomorrow War) and Robert Kirkman (The Walking Dead, Invincible).

Renfield (Nicholas Hoult), the protagonist, is a tortured soul bound to Dracula (Nicolas Cage). After centuries of servitude, Renfield is tired. He wants an escape. But his master won’t let him leave.

Renfield has mixed reviews (Rotten Tomatoes critic rating of 63 per cent). For the most part, audiences like it (80 per cent RT score). But critics thought it fell flat.

I love Cage’s exaggerated performances, so I have every intention of watching it, although, the reviews have killed my enthusiasm.
