King Saha Ebiseera concert leaves Hotel Africana overflowing

King Saha performs

One remarkable trend that characterized concerts held this year was the overwhelming attendance; many shows sold out.

Still, King Saha’s Ebiseera stood out. Not only was it a well-attended event, it was also one of the most- crowded shows the venue had witnessed in a long time.

The eagerly awaited King Saha show finally took place last Friday at Hotel Africana’s parking space. Gates opened as early as 2pm, but by 6pm, the venue was packed to capacity.

As the night progressed, by 9pm finding a prime spot to enjoy the show became a challenging task. All sections of the event were filled to the brim. In fact, the VIP section was so full that attendees had to resort to standing on their chairs to catch a glimpse of the stage.

While many were familiar with Fenon Events’ expertise at indoor shows, this Friday marked yet another testament to their skill in organizing outdoor events. The stage was adorned with two giant screens to ensure everyone in attendance could enjoy the show, complete with fitting graphics and impeccable lighting. The event’s success was further enhanced by the impressive sound system.

It is safe to say that King Saha not only received overwhelming support from the general public but also garnered love from his fellow musicians who turned up to support him. Among the notable attendees were both performing and non-performing personalities, including musician-turned-politician and NUP party president, Bobi Wine.

His presence added an extra layer of excitement to the show, with attendees repeatedly chanting his name whenever an artiste expressed gratitude for his presence at King Saha’s invitation, although Jose Chameleone refused to acknowledge the politician-cum-singer.

Other prominent figures in the audience included musicians Rema Namakula, Eddy Kenzo, various politicians and dignitaries. The night’s performances were a star-studded affair, featuring B2C, Lydia Jazmine, Spice Diana, KapaCat, Fresh Kid, Jose Chameleone, Big Eye, King Michael, Fik Fameica, Karole Kasita, Mickie Wine, Levixone, Sheebah, Ziza Bafana, Carol Nantongo, and many others.

King Saha took the stage for two sessions, the first running from 9pm to 10pm, and the last from 11:20pm to 12:20am. Throughout both sessions, he treated the audience to some of his biggest hits, including Very Well, Biri Biri, Sala Pulesa, Pretty, Mpeta, Hello, Zakayo, Ebiseera, and I’m on My Way, among others.
