Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda distribution partner unveils new premises, celebrates rapid growth

Kampala, Uganda – Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda (CCBU) has witnessed a significant milestone in its partnership with Bronze Logistics, one of its Official Coca-Cola Distributors (OCCDs), as the latter inaugurated its new, expanded premises in Kazo, Bwaise.
The state-of-the-art facility, spanning 500 square meters, represents a substantial upgrade from Bronze Logistics’ previous rented warehouse, which measured just 116 square meters. This development underscores the distributor’s remarkable growth since joining CCBU’s network in late 2023.
CCBU General Manager Melkamu Abebe hailed the partnership as a shining example of collaborative success. “Our alliance with Bronze Logistics demonstrates the power of shared vision and opportunity. This new warehouse will enable greater efficiency, allowing Bronze Logistics to meet burgeoning customer demand.”
Abebe emphasized CCBU’s commitment to stakeholder value creation, citing the company’s Route-to-Market strategy. “Our goal is to facilitate sustainable growth for our partners while delivering exceptional service, ensuring seamless product availability from production to consumption.”
CCBU’s support has been instrumental in Bronze Logistics’ transformation. The company provided access to credit, training for sales staff, and enhanced digital capabilities, enabling real-time tracking and operational data.

Geoffrey Kisitu, proprietor of Bronze Logistics, attributed the company’s remarkable growth to CCBU’s guidance. “What began as a small operation has surpassed our expectations. CCBU’s support and capacity building have empowered us to dream bigger. With this new warehouse and advanced digital tools, we’re poised to serve more customers and become a leading regional distributor.”
Bronze Logistics is on track to exceed its 2024 targets, with improved capacity and digital readiness underscoring the potential of modern warehousing.
CCBU boasts an extensive network of over 96 OCCDs across Uganda, with a focus on empowering partners through continuous capability building, operational support, and customer-centricity.
“We strive to partner for growth with all our distributors, fostering mutual success and shared prosperity,” Abebe concluded.
