Auto Show Kampala was impressive 

Happening every year, the Auto Show Kampala brings together automotive dealers, to showcase what different cars are capable of and what makes them stand out.

The two-day event held last weekend at Kololo Ceremonial grounds was something else for car lovers, as new models of cars best suited for our roads were showcased.

My favourite car was definitely the Suzuki XL6 from CFAO Motors. The newest Suzuki on the Ugandan market, this, in my opinion, is the perfect family car – especially given its capacity to carry six passengers and a 1500cc engine.

Away from that, the main aim of the show was to give brands a chance to reach their target markets and relate with potential consumers, all in one place.

There was also a display of vintage cars of all makes, from a well-preserved VW Kombi to a beautiful Mercedes Benz Cabriolet, in addition to some of the coolest motorbikes you can ever imagine on Uganda’s roads.

The 2023 edition of Auto Show Kampala featured a number of activities which included drifting sessions, some stage performances and DJ mixes.
