ICEA LION and Post Bank Reward Excellence in Bancassurance

KAMPALA, UGANDA – ICEA LION Life Assurance and Post Bank have honored an outstanding performer in their bancassurance partnership to promote financial inclusion and insurance penetration.
Ms. Amuge Barbra, a teller at Post Bank’s Kawempe Branch, was awarded an all-expenses-paid trip to Dubai for her exceptional performance in promoting insurance awareness and financial security among clients.
The award was presented at a ceremony held at Post Bank’s City Branch, where Anne Njeri, COO of ICEA LION Life Insurance, praised the collaboration between the two institutions.
“We appreciate the management team at Post Bank, and we believe this partnership will become more sustainable over time,” Njeri said. “We are also delighted to celebrate the hard work and commitment of the Post Bank team in promoting bancassurance solutions.”
The partnership aims to provide insurance solutions to individuals and businesses, offering financial security and peace of mind. The incentive-driven recognition program is expected to motivate more Post Bank staff to embrace bancassurance.
Martin Mugisha, Executive Director of Operations at Post Bank, emphasized the importance of bancassurance in ensuring financial security for clients.
“This is an opportunity for us to safeguard our clients against unforeseen events,” Mugisha said. “Partnerships with insurance companies like ICEA LION are crucial in achieving this goal.”
Ms. Amuge Barbra credited her win to teamwork and support from her colleagues and managers.
“I’m grateful to the ICEA LION team for this recognition,” Barbra said. “I also thank my manager for the encouragement and support that helped me achieve this award.”
The partnership between ICEA LION and Post Bank is set to continue, with the goal of empowering more individuals and businesses with insurance solutions. Next year’s incentive program promises an even more exciting reward – a trip to China.
