Two killed as truck rams into 13 vehicles in Bweyogerere 

Two people have lost their lives in a fatal accident that 14 vehicles and two motorcycles at the Northern bypass-Namboole roundabout.

The accident occurred at around 7 pm when the Fuso truck, reg no. UBD 520H carrying maize failed to break and rammed into 13 other vehicles – instantly killing one female passenger on a motorcycle and a man.

According to police, the driver of the truck who is currently on the run was from Naalya towards Namboole. Victims of the accident have been rushed to Gwatilo & Mulago hospitals for further treatment.
