Showing at the cinema…

Andrew C. Thornton II, a former American narcotics officer, was smuggling cocaine from Colombia to the United States in 1985 when he dropped 34 kilograms of the illegal substance (valued at $2 million) in the wilderness.
A black bear found the containers and ingested so much cocaine it overdosed and died. Cocaine Bear, the movie, takes inspiration from this real-life cocaine bear.
The film, which you can watch at the cinema today, is a comedy horror showing what happens when a rabid, cocaine-fueled bear goes on a rampage.
