ALP Advocates Uganda has announced the appointment of Mr. Moses B. Mwase as Senior Partner and Chief Executive Officer of ALP Professional Services.

The firm described Mwase as bringing “a rare combination of legal, financial, and business leadership experience” with more than 25 years advising clients across multiple sectors. His appointment is expected to strengthen ALP’s ability to serve a broad range of clients — including businesses, government institutions, sports organisations, and boards of directors — in navigating complex legal, financial, and governance challenges.

Mwase has served as an Advocate of the High Court of Uganda since 2000, with expertise spanning business law, trade, finance, infrastructure, energy, mining, transport, and public-private partnerships. He is also a respected authority in sports law, governance, and administration, having advised international federations, national associations, and clubs.

ALP East Africa is a fully integrated legal and advisory firm with a presence in Uganda, Kenya, South Sudan, and Tanzania. A Seasoned and Highly Qualified Leader

A holder of multiple advanced degrees, Mwase earned a Master of Science in Finance and Financial Law from the University of London (SOAS), a Master of Laws in International Sports Law from ISDE Business Law School in Madrid, Spain, and a Master’s in Olympic Sports Management from the University of Ottawa, Canada. He also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Makerere University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre in Kampala.

In addition to his academic credentials, Mwase has undertaken professional training in alternative dispute resolution, strategic planning, project management, corporate governance, and company secretarial practice — reflecting what the firm calls a “steadfast commitment to integrity, excellence, and institutional growth.”
