PostBank donates to Muslim communities for Eid al-Adha

PostBank Uganda shares Eid al-Adha joy by donating cows and goats to Muslim communities in Bombo, Arua, Mbale, and Fort Portal, supporting traditional celebrations and fostering community well-being.
BOMBO, Uganda – PostBank Uganda announced Wednesday it has donated animals to Muslim communities across several regions ahead of the upcoming Eid al-Adha celebration.
The bank distributed cows and goats through its branches in Arua, Mbale, Bombo and Fort Portal. Eid al-Adha is traditionally marked by the slaughter of animals, which are then shared among family, friends and those in need.
Martin Lukyamuzi, PostBank’s regional head of distribution for Greater Kampala, thanked the leadership of Bombo Mosque for their spiritual guidance and community support.
“As we approach Eid al-Adha, PostBank Uganda is honored to celebrate this important occasion by supporting our Muslim brothers and sisters through the donation of animals,” Lukyamuzi said. “PostBank Uganda goes beyond extending accessible financial solutions to embracing and supporting the well-being of our communities, like what we are witnessing today, in recognition of the upcoming Eid Day.”
Mufti Muhammad Kadala, representing the leadership of Masjid Swaleh in Bombo, expressed gratitude for the donation. “We are truly grateful for this timely support as we prepare for Eid al-Adha,” Kadala said. “The donated animals will go a long way in ensuring that many families can celebrate with joy.”
“We wish all Muslims joyous Eid al-Adha celebrations, and we commit to continue to foster the prosperity of our people in Bombo and across the different regions in Uganda so that they continue to grow and prosper in their ventures,” Lukyamuzi said.
