10 lucky winners share UGX100 Million in Absa Bank Uganda’s card usage campaign

Kampala, Uganda – Absa Bank Uganda has rewarded 10 lucky customers with a total of UGX100 million in its ongoing card usage campaign, “UGX200 million can change your story.” The winners were announced today, having used their Absa debit or credit cards for at least five transactions between September and October 2024.

The campaign, launched to promote convenient digital payments and reward customer loyalty, aligns with Absa’s refreshed brand promise, “Your Story Matters.” According to David Wandera, Executive Director and Head of Markets, “We’re delighted to reward our customers for embracing seamless banking solutions.”

Lucky winners receive UGX 10 million each at Absa Bank Uganda’s ‘UGX 200 million can change your story’ campaign awards

To participate, Absa cardholders simply need to use their debit or credit cards at least five times monthly for goods and services. Five customers will be rewarded with UGX10 million each month until December 31, 2024.

One of the winners, Allan Tusuubira, expressed gratitude, saying, “I’m thrilled to be among the winners. Using my debit card for daily transactions paid off. I encourage fellow customers to continue using their cards.”

Absa has ensured widespread payment terminals for convenient transactions and reinforced cybersecurity measures to safeguard customer investments. With UGX100 million still up for grabs, customers are encouraged to continue using their Absa cards to stand a chance to win.

“We’re committed to providing ultra-convenience and seamless experiences for our customers,” Wandera added.
