We can’t lose the war against homosexual recruitment

Gay activists

In an attempt to appease the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning & internet (LGBTQI) community on February 9, 2023 Church of England compromised by allowing a ‘blessing’ to be said in church for same-sex couples who are in civil marriages.

This so-called blessing is just one step away from permitting gay marriages in church. The Church of Uganda responded immediately.

In their February 10, 2023 press release, Archbishop Stephen Kaziimba said: “The Church of England insists it is not changing its doctrine of marriage. But, in practice, they are doing precisely that. If it looks like a wedding and sounds like a wedding, it is a wedding. The Church of England has now departed from the Bible. They are now saying, ‘Go, and sin some more.’ They are even offering to bless that sin. That is wrong. As Church of Uganda we cannot accept that. God cannot bless what He calls sin.”

Indeed, all preceding archbishops of the Church of Uganda have never wavered in their firm stand against homosexuality. Now, the Inter-Religious Council of Uganda and moralists are agitating that the Anti-Homosexuality Act, which was annulled in 2014 by the Constitutional court, should be reinstated. And rightly so.

Homosexuality is illegal in Uganda under the Penal Code Act 1950, Section 145. Nevertheless, Uganda needs a law that penalizes homosexual recruitment in particular. Homosexuals claim it is their human right to marry. However, in 2016, the European Court of Human Rights ruled that, “There is no right to same-sex marriage.”

This ruling was agreed upon unanimously by the 47 judges representing 47 countries that make up the Council of Europe. Furthermore, in this statement, the court added it should not be imposed on governments as ‘an obligation to open marriage to persons of the same sex.’

Following disturbing social media reports of sodomy in a prominent Ugandan boarding school, the ministry of Education and Sports is currently investigating homosexuality in Ugandan schools. Ordinarily, most boarding schools in Uganda will automatically expel homosexual students. However, of late, some schools have become recruitment centres for homosexuals! How times have changed!

These scandals should be a wake-up call to our society, to wage war against homosexual recruitment. On Thursday, February 16, 2023, which was a public holiday celebrating Archbishop Janani Luwum day, President Museveni, while speaking in Kitgum district, said: “I thank Ugandan believers for rejecting homosexuality. These Europeans don’t listen; they don’t respect other people’s views. They want to turn the abnormal into normal and force it on others. Homosexuality is not something we should normalize and celebrate. It is a deviation from the normal. We are not going to follow people who are lost.”

President Museveni’s position has always been thatUganda does not persecute homosexuals, but it does not promote homosexuality either. In fact, many African presidents have spoken out publicly against homosexuality. Their position is unanimous that homosexuality is alien to our African culture.

To prove it, in the 2021 BBC story, ‘Homosexuality: “The countries where it is illegal to be gay,’ it reported, There are 69 countries that have laws that criminalise homosexuality, and nearly half of these are in Africa.”

Leviticus 18:22 (RSV) says, “You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination.”

Therefore, in a direct affront to God, some gay men have decided to become effeminate, speaking in high-pitched voices and adopting a ‘catwalk’ gait to sound and seem feminine. Some of them even dress up as women (cross-dressing) wearing makeup, wigs, growing their hair long, swallowing hormone pills and undergoing sex-change operations to turn themselves into ‘women.’

No wonder they suffer from identity crises and have now invented new terminology such as bigender, gender-fluid and gender-identity, saying, “I was born a man, but identify as a woman,” or “I am a woman stuck in a man’s body!” It is shameful. They should repent.

It is bad enough that LGBTQI have hijacked the God-given rainbow and adopted it as their own symbol! Christians should not sit back and relax because LGBTQI are very aggressive about promoting their Antichrist agenda and they have been doing so covertly in Uganda. Stories abound about gay and lesbian bars in various cities in this country.

Gay recruiters use large sums of money to excite and entice naive boys into homosexuality. But they will never tell these boys they are indoctrinating about the dangers of anal sex, such as damaging the anus muscles, which can cause them to lose control of their faeces or stool, forcing them to wear adult pampers (big nappies) underneath their clothes!

Parents can protect their children by telling them how dangerous homosexuality is and warn their children that any money they get from homosexual recruiters is not worth it, as they might end up in hospital with HIV/Aids.

Parents should not give in to children’s demands to buy them smartphones, with Internet access where they can view pornographic websites; but instead buy them simple mobile phones to keep in touch through calls and sms text messages.

Parental controls can be installed on pay TV channels in homes. Above all, pray for your children for God to protect them from LGBTQI influence.
