Shotgun Wedding is a romantic action comedy that follows Darcy and Tom, a happy couple that just organized the ultimate destination wedding.

The couple thought their opinionated families were the only obstacle standing in their way. But then danger strikes, and Darcy and Tom are on a journey to save their loved ones from certain death. Jason Moore, the director, worked on Pitch Perfect in 2012 and Sisters in 2015.

He also directed episodes of Dawson’s Creek, Everwood, One Tree Hill, Brothers and Sisters, and Trophy Wife. Ryan Reynolds was initially attached to the project, but he stepped back, becoming an executive producer, while Armie Hammer stepped in to replace him.

When Armie’s cannibalism controversy arose, he also vacated the role and Josh Duhamel replaced him. You can watch Shotgun Wedding in cinemas today.
