Scorsese outdoes himself with Killers of the Flower Moon

In Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon, the Osage Nation discovers oil at the turn of the 20th Century.

Their abundant wealth attracts white interlopers who use extortion and murder to steal the tribe’s money. The film is based on David Grann’s 2017 nonfiction book titled Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI.

The movie has a 93 percent critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes after 229 reviews. Critics have argued that Scorsese earns every minute of the film’s 3.5-hour runtime.
