Former minister of Trade and senior presidential advisor on Industry Amelia Kyambadde was chief guest as Kennedy Zziwa launched his Hair by Zziwa Academy in Nansana recently.

Zziwa said vocational skills including hairdressing, have helped young people to break out of unemployment by creating their own businesses and becoming employers.

“Follow your passion and don’t focus on the money. Money will come to you. Don’t chase money,” Zziwa told the young people in attendance.

Kyambadde, on her part, expressed satisfaction that young people were creating job opportunities for fellow youth, especially through vocational skilling.

The event also featured the graduation of 56 students in short courses such as hairdressing and beauty, among others.
