Gerard Butler is back in Plane

Plane is an American action thriller in which a pilot (Gerard Butler) responds to a lightning strike by making an emergency landing on a war-torn island.

When rebels take the passengers hostage, the pilot, Brodie, turns to Louise (Mike Colter), a murderer in FBI custody. If reviewers are to be believed, Plane is better than the trailers suggest. It has a Rotten Tomatoes critic rating of 76 per cent and an audience score of 94 per cent.

Reviewers have called it ‘Serviceable’ and ‘Refreshingly Straightforward.’ You can watch Plane in the cinema today.
