Elijah Kitaka performs
Last Sunday, partygoers from all corners of Kampala stormed Noni Vie at Lugogo for an invite-only event, where one had to be dressed with a touch of sky blue, as per the dress code.
The party started at 7pm with guests enjoying free cocktails and food. The ambiance was a beach setting, with the place painted blue. Patrons turned up in African prints, floral shirts, shorts and tiny dresses that enhanced the party mood.
DJ Dash, DJ Ssese, Etania and Timothy Code brought more life to the party with their great energy as the crowd danced to their mixes.
The party got truly underway when Swangz Avenue’s Elijah Kitaka stepped on stage in his signature shorts and a white shirt to serenade the crowd with songs such as Tutu Mama, Me and You, Nothing, Kontrol, and Touch and Continue as patrons sampled newly launched Don Julio tequila till late in the night.
